At "the Mis au Point" the last details of the house construction are fixed. We were also able to make this appointment online with Maisons de la Côte Atlantique (MCA). For us, the most important and at the same time the most difficult points were

• where should which switches turn on which lights?
• where should the sockets go?
• which connections do we need outside?

But there will also be the appearance

• of the doors and door handles,
• the roof tiles and gutters,
• the window frames and window grilles

were specified. Here we were able to choose from a catalog in advance. Most important for the appointment was the preparation.

Preparation Mis au Point

Before the appointment, the kitchen must already be planned. The kitchen studio then provides a document in which the requirement for sockets for the kitchen are drawn. In addition, we have previously considered where sockets and light switches should be. We recorded this and sent it in advance to our consultant at MCA. Via video conference, explaining would have otherwise taken a very long time. So we were done in about half an hour and after a short wait we could already see their version of our schematic.

Changes to the circuit diagram

We were not sure about some questions regarding the number or function of the switches, so we changed the plan twice afterwards. This was no problem for our consultant from MCA, who was friendly and helpful despite our waffling. Thank you, this is what makes house planning fun!
